Welcome to the Northern Borzoi Association UK

Borzoi entered my life in 1984. Our first dog activities were in obedience and lure coursing and shortly after I added conformation showing. 

Jubilee borzoi, with limited breeding, has over 50+ AKC AKC conformation champions with many national specialty awards and regional specialty best in shows and several Canadian and Japan champions as well. They’ve earned countless titles in conformation, performance ( lure coursing, racing, open field coursing), and obedience/rally events. Some special accomplishments have been styling GCh. Jubilee-Katushka Ebel to #1 all-breed borzoi completely owner/breeder handled. During that campaign she also garnered a Westminster Award of Merit, an AKC/Eukanuba National Specialty Show best of breed and best bred by exhibitor. Winning both winners dog and winners bitch from the bred by classes with siblings from my first litter at the BCOA National was exciting and to top it off the bitch went best of winners and her brother was awarded an Award of Merit. That same girl later went on to become the #1 dog in Japan for several years and was invited to the AKC/Eukanuba National Dog Show in Long Beach, California the first time they offered group judging to #1 foreign dogs. She placed in the hound group the same year my Ebel won best of breed there. Then next came breeding and showing MBIF MSBIS DC GCHB Jubilee Drop of Golden Sun, SC, FCH, GRC who holds the Borzoi Club of America record for the most specialty best in shows (ten) won by a bitch.

I’ve owned, trained, and shown several breeds in the hound group; Borzoi, Whippets, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dachshunds, and Afghans as well as handled many breeds in other groups. I’m a member of and support several regional breed and all-breed clubs, having held many positions there and in the Borzoi Club of America, which I am now a lifetime member. 

I’m a qualified AKC judge in the hound group and currently judge Borzoi and Whippets at the highest level. I’ve been privileged to judge many regional Borzoi specialties and whippets from coast to coast and border to border in the US.

My life besides dogs, consists of being a wife and grandma to 7. I also enjoy gardening and designing/creating jewelry.
